Brian and Kelly Alternate Story – Chapter 2

(Author’s Note: This story is NOT in the same continuity or time-line as Brian and Kelly. It is a completely alternate story featuring the same characters and universe commissioned by Urza2. Think of them as two different stories with the same characters and an alternate turn of events.)

That Thursday, Brian simply didn’t feel good.  His entire body ached from only a relatively short workout yesterday.  In fact, he could barely get out of bed at all.  After some initial resistance from his parents, Brian stayed home from school and rested.  Unsure of why he felt this way, he simply knocked it up to  illness of some sorts and tried to get better.

Meanwhile, Kelly felt absolutely fantastic.  In fact, she had never felt more energetic before in her entire life.  She found herself breezing through her day, fully alert and able to absorb all of the information in her classes like a sponge.  She noticed that Brian was absent, and couldn’t help but feel kind of relieved – she really wanted to go to the gym, but didn’t want to deal with his haughty attitude.

As soon as classes ended, Kelly eagerly made her way to the gym.  Just like with past visits, nobody else was there, giving her complete privacy to go about with her workout.  She quickly moved over to the dumbbell rack and picked up two of the 10 ponders she struggled with the day before.  To her absolute delight, Kelly was able to effortlessly curl them, pounding out repetition after repetition with ease.  After a dozen reps, she was unsatisfied with her workout and picked up the 15 pound weights.  These too were fairly easy to lift, and with a little effort she was able to finish the motion 8 times before putting them back down.

Kelly proceeded to complete a myriad of other exercises involving the dumbbells working every portion of her upper body.  When she felt satisfied, she moved over to the bench press.  She found that she was only able to lift the bar with a single 20 pound plate on each side, giving her a total of 80 lbs.    Finally she finished off her workout with some squats, able to complete full form repetitions with 120 lbs on the bar.  She finished off her workout by running home – an entire 6 miles, giving her a decent amount of cardio.

As soon as Kelly got home she felt immense hunger overtaking her…  Her growing muscles needed food!  Without hesitation, she made a mad dash for the kitchen and whipped herself up a large protein packed meal and scarfed it down.  After her food settled, the sensation of limitless energy overtook her again and she started doing sets of pushups and stomach crunches.  The day before she could only perform a dozen or so before giving out, but today she started off strong with a set of 25.  Stomach crunches were even easier for her; she was able to perform 50, including alternating repetitions side to side to work her obliques.  After her workout, she found herself famished again, and scarfing down yet another meal.

While Kelly was triumphing, Brian felt awful.  He could barely eat anything at all.  He drank a lot of water and stayed in bed most of the day.  His entire body ached, and even the slightest movement was aggravatingly painful.

As the evening progressed, Kelly found herself able to do a couple more pushups each set after giving her body half an hour or so of downtime.  By the time she went to sleep, she was easily completing 40 pushups and 90 crunches without too much difficulty.

The next day brought similar results as the previous. Kelly awoke invigorated and ready to take on the world, while Brian found himself staying home yet again.  One thing that Kelly wasn’t enjoying so much was her insatiable hunger.  She went as far as to bring an extra lunch that she stealthily nibbled on throughout the day in addition to her regular school lunch.  Not wanting to let school get in the way of her fitness, Kelly skipped taking the bus and simply ran.  Just like yesterday, her newfound energy affected her both mentally and physically, giving her supreme cerebral acuteness.  In fact, learning was even easier than the day before.  It was so easy that she was able to dedicate only half of her attention to the lecture, fully taking it all in while writing down various fitness and life goals.  She realized that if she could keep up this pace of improvement, she could match Brian in less than two weeks, that’s of course assuming that he himself didn’t get stronger as well.  Going over the numbers on paper reinvigorated her drive to grow as strong as possible and teach Brian a lesson a two about his arrogance.

With Brian absent again, Kelly could fully focus on her workout.  To her relief, the 15 lb weights were too light and she had to move up to the 20 pounders to work out her biceps.  Kelly felt a surge of self confidence as she noticed a small but definitive bicep pop up as she moved the iron weight.  Her biceps weren’t the only muscles popping out, her shoulders, triceps, pecs and traps all flared out ever so slightly when worked with the appropriate exercise.  To her delight she moved up to 100 lbs on the bench press, a 20 pound increase, and a 150 lbs on the squat rack, a whopping 30 pound increase.  Satisfied with her progress, Kelly ran home to quickly make herself a giant meal and work on her pushups and crunches.

Kelly couldn’t help but feel anxious the next day.  She had all of this energy and slightly more visible muscle than the previous day, but couldn’t use the school’s gym to work out.  She decided to make the most of it and perform as much bodyweight exercise as possible while eating as much food as she could stomach.  What started off with merely pushups and crunches quickly involved to a full suite of exercises including pull ups, squats, lunges, various yoga moves and even started to follow various intense bodywork routines like P999-ZX.  As the day moved on her body grew both stronger and more flexible.

Brian was finally starting to feel a little better, but was still in no condition to do much physically.  While Kelly was pushing herself as far as she could without weights, Brian lazed around watching TV.  While Kelly was scarfing down more food than she ever thought possible, Brian barely ate anything at all.

Sunday progressed similarly, except that Kelly was significantly stronger.  Before the day’s end she had  breached the 100 pushup mark, and could perform a few single handed pull ups.  Brian had finally stopped feeling sore and was ready to go back to school.  He still didn’t really feel up for exercising and decided to wait to use the school gym instead of doing anything at home.

The next morning Kelly woke up an hour early, filled to the brim with sheer energy.  As soon as she got up, she started performing single-handed pushups.  Twelve with each arm, not bad.  She followed it up with a couple single handed pull ups and a myriad of a couple hundred crunches.  With plenty of time remaining, she continued practicing yoga moves, and was already able to perform everything under the “advanced” category with ease.  Before getting dressed, she couldn’t help but admire herself in the mirror.  Merely a week ago she had little to no muscle to speak of at all, and now powerful bulges were popping out with minimal effort.  A wide grin spread across her face as she flexed her easily 12 inch biceps and with minimal effort, clamped down and caused a thin, but visible six-pack to pop out of her midsection.  Perhaps her favorite improvement was her chest.  While she always had some decently sized breasts, now they were extremely perky, supported by visible pectoral muscles.  Remembering a trick she saw on TV, she pulsated her pecs, causing them to bulge every so slightly outwards and her breasts to dance on command.

Content with her self observation, Kelly took a quick shower and started to get dressed.  She found that her favorite black tank-top left over two inches of her sharply defined midriff fully exposed.   “Must be my new super boobs…” she said quietly to herself, putting on some shorts, only to find that those too were covering less skin than in the past.  “I must be getting taller too…”  she grabbed a nearby tape measure and measured herself, it read 5’6″.  Kelly grinned from ear to ear, she indeed did grow taller!  Unfortunately this much exposed midriff meant that her tank-top wouldn’t meet school code, at least during class hours, so she threw on a long sleeve sweater over it, which fit incredibly snugly.

After completing the rest of her morning grooming routine, Kelly devoured a massive breakfast, packed some extra food, and ran to class.  The several mile run left her barely winded at all, and still completely full of energy for the rest of the day.  As with the previous days, Kelly found herself breezing through class, spending more time thinking of what exercises she’d do, and how she’d deal with Brian.  She hoped that maybe he’d give her some respect after seeing all of her progress.  After-all, despite turning into a giant jackass after getting muscular, Brian was deep down her good friend…  He was simply letting his newfound muscles go to his head.  Besides, having finally experienced some of this euphoric muscle growth herself, she kind of related to him and understood… It was intoxicating after-all… The feeling of growing stronger and stronger every day, bursting with more energy than the previous.

Brian’s morning routine was quite different.  He dragged himself out of bed a full 20 minutes later than he usually would.  While the soreness in his body faded, he still didn’t feel fully up to speed.  The new clothes he bought to fit his new height and build didn’t feel as tight, and his pants were a bit too long.  Even his new shoes weren’t quite as snug as they typically would be.  Normally he’d eat a pretty big breakfast, but today he could only manage to eat a couple eggs and had to practically force himself to drink a second glass of milk.  Throughout the school day he felt off.  Brian struggled to pay attention, and even when he managed to, his class lessons seemed… really difficult.  Normally Brian would quickly learn whatever was taught, and would ace if it he could be bothered to study.  Today however, he simply wasn’t all there mentally.

Despite feeling tired and wanting to crawl into bed, Brian forced himself to go the gym.  He figured he needed to get back to pumping iron to start feeling good again.  As soon as the final bell rang, Brian rushed to the gym as quickly as possible.  He figured he could get in a quick workout and slip home before anyone came in.

Fortunately for Brian, the gym was empty. He made his way over to the trusty dumbbell rack and grasped a pair of the 60 pound weights he easily curled a few days back.  As he started to pull them up, he immediately knew something was off, they were way too heavy.  After exerting all of his might, he barely managed to lift them into the air.  Brian started to curl the weight with his right arm, but found it was an impossible action.  There was no way he could properly do it.  Accepting defeat, he put the weights back down.  “I must really be under the weather…” he said to himself, grabbing a pair of 55’s.  Even these were heavier than he remembered.  Although it was challenging, Brian was able to curl the weights proficiently.  After a few taxing sets, he was satisfied with his bicep workout, and put the weights back on.

Before Brian could start working on his triceps, he heard the gym door swing open.  He gulped and felt a pit swell in his stomach as he looked to the door; it was Kelly.  As she confidently strode over towards him, he noticed that she definitely looked different.  The same sweater that she used to wear all the time was now extremely tight, and he couldn’t help but notice how… perky her breasts were.  They were always decent, but now they were some of the best he’d even seen.  Not only that, but her legs were amazing.  Muscular, toned and without an ounce of fat on them.  They were definitely much larger and, he reckoned, harder than a few days ago.
“Umm, hey Brian, eyes up here.”  Kelly said with a slight giggle as she caught him practically staring at her legs.

“Oh. Uh.  Sorry.” he responded.  “Have you, uhh…”

“Been working out?” Kelly interrupted him.  “You bet!  I have to admit Brian, you were right… This working out stuff is AMAZING when you start growing!”

“Heh… yeah.” Brian wasn’t sure how strong Kelly was now, but there was no way he could let her know that he was now weaker.  “Don’t get too cocky though.” he warned.

“Hmmm?” Kelly inquired with annoyance in her tone.

“Just, uh, you know.” Brian nervously started. “While you look great and all, you’re still a girl.”

“And what does THAT mean?” Kelly angrily snapped.

“It just, uh, means that you won’t get that strong, ya know?” He tried to explain.

“Define THAT strong.” Kelly demanded.

“You know.  As strong as me.”

“As strong as you?  I want to get stronger than you!  And I will!” she exclaimed fiercely.

“Well, don’t get disappointed when you see me growing even bigger while you start to slow down.”

“Oh yeah?  Well you don’t seem quite as big as you did last time I saw you.  So how are you gonna get bigger? huh?” Kelly asked, her demeanor changing from fierce to furious.

“You got taller is all…”

“Yeah.  Well, that’s not all.  Check THIS out!” Kelly exclaimed, flexing her arm.  The fabric of her sweater stretched to its brim as her powerful bicep popped up.  “Go on, FEEL it!” Kelly commanded.

Brian slowly reached over and gave it a squeeze.  “Yeah that’s pretty hard…” he admitted.

“No, that’s not good enough.  Let’s play your game.  Try to dent it Brian, go on!” she ordered.

Brian complied and tried to clamp his fingers down, but something was very wrong… he simply couldn’t get her arm to budge.  In fact, it felt like, her bicep was getting harder somehow.  He knew this was impossible, but he couldn’t deny what he felt.  Worse yet, he could feel his fingers giving out.  He began to tremble and feel weaker.  After a few moments he gave up.

Kelly was grinning from ear to ear. “Told ya.  You had your fun.  Now it’s my turn.  I’m going to come in here every single day and lift heavier and heavier weights.  Just you watch Brian, if you don’t start going all out with your training, I’m going to pass you before you know it.” Kelly explained, having calmed down considerably.  “Now then.  Are you going to admit that women are just as strong as men?” she asked.

Brian felt absolutely exhausted… as if he was completely devoid of energy.  He knew he had to get out of there.  “I don’t know.  You’re… uhh.. well… you’re strong for a girl.  Alright?  Look, I gotta go.”  His head was spinning and he felt like he could vomit at any moment.  He gave Kelly a quick wave before turning tail and heading home as quickly as his weakened body could take him.

Kelly was annoyed that Brian couldn’t simply man up and admit defeat.  Oh well.  If she continued progressing like this, she’d be stronger than him in no time and he’d surely have to concede, then they could hopefully resume being good friends again.  She kind of missed the days when Brian was a skinny little 5’6″ runt who was one of the smallest boys in the school.  Something about his size gave him a certain kindness.  It was a real shame that power affected him like this.

In fact, on the note of power, she felt absolutely amazing – even more so than she already did, if that was even possible.  It was almost as if she were a superhero or anime character who just ascended to a higher level. She closed and opened her fist and observed how even her forearm pushed her sweater to its limits.

After musing over her body some more, she went over to the dumbbell rack and grabbed the pair of 20s she left off with last time.  She knew immediately after grabbing them that she’d need to swap them out.  Regardless, she humored herself and started to curl them.  The motion was almost effortless, and she couldn’t help but laugh at how just a mere 3 days ago these weights challenged her.  After tossing the 20 pounders aside as if they were nothing, she grabbed a pair of 30 lb dumbbells.  These provided some challenge, but not enough for the workout she desired.  After finishing a set of curls, she put the dumbbells down and examined her biceps.  They were completely pushing the fabric of her sweater without any effort whatsoever.  She could fully make out their shape and definition without any difficulty at all.

Smirking wildly, she put back the 30 lb dumbbells and grabbed a pair of 40’s.  It was fairly tough to pick them up, but she managed.  It was even harder to curl them, but the sensation of her arms lifting so much weight by themselves was like pure ecstasy for Kelly.  For almost anyone else, lifting this much weight at her current strength would have been next to impossible, but through sheer force of will, and adrenaline, Kelly managed to slowly complete repetitions.  She could feel her arms practically exploding from the effort, but forced them to continue.  After a few repetitions, her arms had swollen beyond the confines of her sweater, and the fabric surrounding the peak of her bicep split wide open.  Upon seeing this Kelly felt a surge of sheer pleasure, and managed to push herself and continue curling.  With each repetition the tear in the fabric grew wider, and after a few more repetitions, the entirety of her bare arms were on display.  After miraculously completing a dozen repetitions, Kelly let the weights drop and let out a massive sigh of relief.

After taking a few moments to rest, Kelly moved over to the nearest mirror and flexed her arms.  She practically drooled over her newly minted biceps, which must have been 13 and a half inches of sheer power.  Realizing her sweater was effectively destroyed, Kelly decided to have some fun and effortlessly ripped off the rest of the fabric, stripping down to her tank-top.  She felt great being able to breath more freely, although her tank-top clung even tighter to her chest than it did this morning.  As she continued to observe her reflection, she noticed that even more of her midriff was exposed.  At least   an extra inch was showing compared to this morning, revealing her impressive midsection.

Kelly lustfully ran her fingers over the prominent, powerful six pack abs that were now exposed.  While this morning she had a faint outline that could be manipulated into something clearly visible, she now had six powerful abdominal slabs, with at least a half inch indentation between one another.   Adorning each side of her abdominal wall were prominent oblique muscles, all resting on top of a sharply cut Adonis belt.  Flexing her belly caused the abs to pop out even further.  Kelly jammed a finger into one of her tensed abdominals and was thoroughly impressed at how incredibly hard it was.  She wondered if a regular student at the school could even hurt her with a punch.

What surprised Kelly most about her newly formed stomach muscles was the fact that she hadn’t really worked out her abs at all.  In fact, looking herself over, every muscle on her entire body was larger.  While her pectorals were merely pushing her breasts up, now they looked like a small plate of armor protecting her chest.  Her shoulders were well rounded with visible striations.  Her traps popped out without any effort whatsoever, and she could see the sides of her lateral muscles peaking out from behind.  She could only imagine just how powerful her back was now.

Kelly’s upper body wasn’t the only beneficiary. Looking at her lower half in the mirror, Kelly almost squealed with glee.  Her shorts were almost totally consumed by her now massive quadriceps and prominent, round butt.  She squatted down slightly and her jaw almost dropped at the shape and size of her tensed thighs and glutes.  Finally, Kelly stood up on her tiptoes, causing her large 15 inch calves to flare up in size, fully revealing their diamond shape.

As much as Kelly wanted to stay in the gym and continue training her already impressive body, she realized that her current outfit would likely get her in trouble on school property, even after hours.  Besides, while she wasn’t quite as strong as Brian yet, she was well on her way.  Not wanting to get in any trouble, Kelly decided it was time to head home.

Kelly’s body wasn’t the only thing that was strengthened considerably today.  Her mind, which had already considerably improved the past few days, was running even faster and more effectively.  As she ran home, her thoughts raced within her head.  After thinking the situation over a few times, she came up with a theory for her newfound growth… And if her theory was correct, she knew how to take what occurred today further.  Much, much further.
